The alternative disposition, if the accused is willing to plead guilty, often includes a 14-day in patient alcohol treatment program, 2 year license suspension (hardship available after 12 months), and the installation of an ignition device for 2 years.
Often, there exists conflicting information regarding the arrest, the administration of the breathalyzer test, or the administration of road side tests. In cases such as this, it could be beneficial to force your Constitutional right to a trial, and force the Commonwealth to meet its burden to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that you were in fact guilty of this offense.
